In the name of God Amen. I Robert Rite of Patrick County being sick and weak of body but perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for it I do make this my last will and Testament in the manner and form following - viz that is to say in the first place I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors and as for what worldly estate it hath pleased God to bless me in this life with I do give and bequeath it in the manner and form following: Item it is my desire all my just (sic) to be paid out of my estate and the over plus my Negroes stocks Household furniture I give unto my beloved wife during her life except Mildred I give unto my daughter Elizabeth & at my wife's death it is my desire my Negroe Lucy Abraham Jinmager Rachael stock & Household furniture and land to be equally divided amongst all my sons and daughters that is to say John, Elizabeth, Josiah, Mary, Fanney, Reuben the price of Negro Mildred to be deducted out of my daughter Elizabeth part of the balance of my estate. I do appoint my beloved wife & Jno. Hall my whole & sole executors of this my last will and testament.
